In this role, you will be a critical member of project teams, supporting the collection and analysis of data while learning how to develop new insights and creative ideas to help businesses grow in the rapidly changing consumer goods industry.

This will entail leading and developing project teams, presenting information to clients, and supporting the creation of client deliverables. You will also own an internal company capability (e.g., recruiting or marketing).
You will be responsible for:
- Developing creative analytical approaches to client challenges, driving new thinking and creating a culture of innovation
- Designing analytical approaches, drawing insights from data and deciding what they mean for our clients
- Working directly with clients to help them understand insights and implications
- Training and managing junior team members
- Participating in business development, assisting in proposal development and helping to constantly improve our offer

We seek creative, curious, entrepreneurial, analytical and team-oriented candidates with 4-6 years of professional experience in consulting, consumer goods or a related area to join us as Engagement Managers.
As an Engagement Manager, you will lead project teams and build trusted advisory relationships with clients to provide deep insight and growth strategies while creating the conviction for them to take action. This entails being fully responsible for several client engagements in parallel, including management of all work streams and team members for each project.
In this role you are primarily focused on Consulting projects, however EM’s have the opportunity to directly support portfolio companies as opportunities arise. Beyond project work, you will also build Seurat Group intellectual property and expand firm capability areas.
You will be responsible for:
- Architecting analytic plans, interpreting insights from a variety of different data sources, and helping the team think about the implications for our clients’ businesses
- Actively leading collective development of big ideas, recommendations and project deliverables throughout a project
- Building client empathy, and maintaining client trust and commitment (at the Director-VP level)
- Communicating valuable ideas and concepts to clients/stakeholders verbally, in writing and visually. Storytelling is a key skill, and PowerPoint is a primary communication medium.
- Developing solutions to anticipated and unexpected problems, including finding solutions outside of the firm’s current capabilities (industry contacts, experts, etc.)
- Actively developing junior members of the team through active coaching, feedback and mentoring
- Building Seurat Group organizational capabilities and intellectual property
- Actively contributing to business development efforts
- Serving as a company role model by actively contributing to a positive, collaborative, can-do culture
